Why I’m Adjusting My Rates Starting March 1, 2025
At Hands On Medical Massage LLC, my mission has always been to provide high-quality care that helps you feel and move better. I’m so grateful for the trust and support you’ve shown me over the years, and it’s been a privilege to work with each of you on your wellness journey.
Starting March 1, 2025, I’ll be implementing a rate adjustment across all services. This is the first adjustment in 3 ½ years, and while I’ve held off as long as possible, this change is necessary to continue offering the level of care and service you deserve.
Why the Adjustment?
- Rising Business Costs: Over the past few years, the costs of supplies, equipment, and utilities have increased significantly.
- Inflation and Cost of Living: Like many small businesses, I’ve been affected by inflation, which impacts my ability to maintain the practice sustainably.
- Commitment to Excellence: I invest in ongoing education, training, and the highest-quality tools to ensure you receive effective and personalized treatments.
- Moving Offices: I have been looking to move my office to one of two different locations, both of which would improve patient experience but also increase business expenses.
This adjustment reflects the value of the care I provide while keeping the practice sustainable for the long term.
What to Expect
The new rates will be updated on March 1, 2025. I will detail the changes below but you can see the see them on the “Schedule an Appointment” page HERE.
My focus will always remain on providing exceptional, results-driven care tailored to your unique needs.
While it is not a big change in rates, it will help myself and my practice to cover rising costs.
Current rates do not include sales tax which is 7.25% in Jackson County, Ohio.
Current
30 minutes – $45 + $3.26 sales tax = $48.26
60 minutes – $85 + $6.16 tax = $91.16
90 minutes – $125 + $9.06 tax= 134.06
New Rates
30 minutes – $60 including taxes (a total increase of $11.74)
60 minutes – $100 w/ tax (an increase of $8.84)
90 minutes – $140 w/ tax (an increase of $5.94)
The sales tax, which massage therapists are required to collect, will come out of the fee. So, no more awkward change or calculations. Just nice, round, even numbers. For my patients at least. I’ve already done the painstaking part of crunching the numbers to see how much sales tax there will be.
